Guest Houses in Northern Ireland
Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, is a waterfront city with a proud industrial past. It is most famous for the Titanic ocean liner, built in the city and launched in 1911 and now celebrated (and commemorated) at Titanic Belfast visitor centre.
Titanic Belfast sits at the heart of the city’s regenerated ‘Titanic Quarter’ of museums, restaurants and public art installations but there is plenty to see elsewhere in the city, including the hill which is said to resemble a sleeping giant and is thought to have inspired Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels.
Wherever you look to sleep in Northern Ireland, you’ll find plenty of comfortable Belfast B&B and apartments to choose from.
Most of Belfast’s B&Bs and Guest houses are restored Victorian townhouses lining the leafy streets of the Queen’s Quarter, Lisburn Road or Ravenhill Road.
The Northern Ireland Tourist Board’s star grading system is used here for easy reference. Guesthouses offer evening meals.
