The A2 Aces Scooter Rally 2027 is a community-led three-day scooter festival taking place in Carrickfergus. The event is organised by the volunteer-run A2 Aces Scooter Club, a constituted community organisation established in 2008, dedicated to promoting scooter heritage, volunteering, community participation, chirality fund rising and social inclusion.
The rally festival brings together local residents, families, community groups, businesses/sponsorships and visitors from across Northern Ireland, Ireland and Great Britain to celebrate the unique culture and heritage of the scooter community.
The event combines support of local live bands across three days, heritage scooter displays, custom scooter exhibitions, trade stalls, family-friendly entertainment, community activities and local food vendors creating opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
The rally promotes equality of opportunity, encourages positive community relations and helps tackle social isolation by providing affordable and free access to the event grounds and recreational activities. Organised by volunteers, the rally festival creates opportunities for skills development in event management, stewarding, community engagement, marketing and leadership while strengthening the capacity of our local volunteers, local businesses and community organisations.
