Irish author launches new Titanic murder mystery novel
The immense silhouette proudly dominated the Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast. The White Star Line’s newest, most opulent and most expensive ocean liner, built by its 15,000-strong workforce, was set to be launched. The work had been gruelling, the days long — 60 hours per week — but there was a pride in the work: they had built the biggest, the best, vessel in the world.
