Description

Keeeeeeep Dancing! Cancer Focus Northern Ireland has teamed up with Ballroom Blitz NI to host it’s very own Strictly Come Dancing event, based on the hit TV show, to raise vital funds for local children affected by cancer!

Cancer Focus NI is looking for 20 individuals to quit being sofa critics and to put on their dancing shoes on. No previous dancing experience is required, you will be taught to strut your stuff by professional ballroom dance teachers from Ballroom Blitz NI. Sign up on your own or with a friend to take on the classic ballroom dances you have seen on your screens.

Training starts on Tuesday 4th April 7:30-9:30pm at Redburn Community Centre, Holywood for 8 weeks and will result in a final showcase on Saturday 27th May at the Stormont Hotel, Belfast, where tickets will be available for friends, family and the public to watch the live finale.

For anyone who has imagined themselves taking to the ballroom floor like the stars of Strictly Come Dancing, this is an amazing opportunity to make that dream come true!

Even if you’ve never danced in your life, it’s a great chance to learn something new and have a fab-u-lussssssss time whilst raising money for local children affected by cancer when a loved one is diagnosed. A minimum of £250 must be raised per dancer with all the money raised going towards our family support service, which carries out important work with families when a mum, dad or grandparent has cancer.
